Cartridge & Parts

Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) printers use ink cartridge-based systems to apply traceability information onto packaging and products such as text, logos, 2D codes and barcodes.

TIJ printers can help reduce production costs by printing directly onto packaging and cases, thereby removing the need for labels.

Continuous Ink Jet systems expel electrically charged ink droplets from a printhead nozzle and pass them through an electric field to precisely direct them onto products or packaging.

In a barcode printer, a printhead is the device that creates the image on the face of your label or tag. It heats small resistor elements known as dots by applying an electrical current.

The heat from the dots is transferred to either the direct thermal media or thermal transfer ribbon. This produces your text, image, or barcode.
